West Bend is better when you have a local restaurant owner that has a 50 60's theme with inside and outside eating options available. The two menu items I have ordered include a burger and 2 patty burger without cheese. These burgers are juicy and placed on a Brioche roll with two great pickle slices. Next I have had the seasoned fries. Those are scrumptious. The value you get is adequate for the cost of these items. The custard is delicious as well. I do recommend that you give The Shoppe another try. As this place is under new management but the atmosphere and quality of food and custard is like it was when Toucan's originally opened.

"The Shoppe" Custard & Grill ~ 👋😃👍 It was a welcoming experience ! Seeing this restaurant's familiar '60's structure flipped on a switch towards "good time" memories - outside seating, order & serve window, hearing '50-'60's classics playing over speakers. When eating out privileges were enjoyed & food came fresh of the grill, made and served by the Friendliest of people with smiles from good people who want you to enjoy "Good Food & with Great Service!" 🎵 Jackson 5 song, an employee's courtesy to hold open the door. Satisfying our hunger from the friendliest experiencing, a "flash in the past" from the moment we stepped out of our car. I'm glad my son & I had taken the unexpected stop! We're already looking forward to our next stop in when we will be passing through WestBend. 😋👍

If you haven't been to The Shoppe yet, you are missing out! Their Fish ’N Chips are absolutely delicious—the cod is perfectly flaky with a light, golden pub-style batter that isn't greasy. Every bite is fresh and flavorful, especially when paired with their crispy premium fries and house-made coleslaw. Beyond the food, the staff is incredible. Every time we visit, we're greeted with big smiles and warm hospitality that makes you feel right at home.
